Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that focuses on restoring the nervous system. It is profoundly effective for people with chronic stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, illness recover, neurological issues and over-work. The practice involves props (cushions, bolsters, blocks and blankets) to create well-supported yoga asanas (poses). These restful asanas are held for 5 to 7 minutes while allowing your breath to flow through your body, releasing deeply engrained stress patterns and allowing the body to restore its natural rhythms.
This Restorative class is held in our beautiful candle-lit retreat and accompanied by essential oils and healing mantras, creating a magical and nourishing environment. Offered once a month, this is your place to heal from accumulated stress.
